Neck Deep @ O2 Academy Leeds , December 14, 2025

Sunday night in Leeds, cold outside, chaos inside. O2 Academy Leeds was packed wall-to-wall for Neck Deep, with this tour selling out within minutes of going on sale,

Support from: Boston Manor and Anxious.

British Pop Punk band Neck Deep Performing Live at Leeds O2 Academy - Sunday 14th December 2025

Anxious Setting the Tone

Anxious opened the night and came out swinging. No easing into it, no filler. Straight-up emotional intensity wrapped in sharp riffs and shout‑along hooks. Their set felt raw in a way that hits harder live than on record , the kind of band that makes you stop scrolling your phone and actually pay attention.

Perfect opener energy: loud, honest, and just messy enough to feel real.

Boston Manor

Boston Manor followed and completely locked the room in. Heavier, darker, more cinematic, they’ve mastered that balance between aggression and polish. The crowd movement picked up instantly, pits opened, and suddenly the whole floor was bouncing.

They sounded massive. Tight as hell, confident, and clearly loving every second of it. Boston Manor always feel like a band that belongs on a stage this size, and Sunday just proved it again.

Neck Deep - A Celebration of a Seminal Album

Then came Neck Deep.

The second they hit the stage, it was over. Absolute eruption. The kind where the floor feels like it’s moving and you can’t hear yourself think, let alone sing, even though everyone still does.

Ben Barlow of Neck Deep Performing Live at Leeds O2 Academy - Sunday 14th December 2025

Their setlist was stacked, built around the tour’s purpose: celebrating Life’s Not Out to Get You turning 10 years old. Old favourites dominated in the best way, mixed with newer tracks, and songs that somehow still hit exactly the same a decade later. There’s something about seeing Neck Deep in the UK , especially up north , that just feels right. No overproduction, no forced moments, just a band that knows their crowd and feeds off it.

Ben’s crowd control was effortless, switching between heartfelt and hype without missing a beat. Every chorus turned into a room‑wide shout, every breakdown turned into movement. It wasn’t about perfection, it was about connection, and celebration of an album that clearly has stood the test of time a decade after its release.

Why This One Stuck

Some gigs are fun. Some are loud. This one stuck.

Maybe it was the lineup. Maybe it was the timing. Or maybe it was just one of those nights where everything clicked, band, crowd, room, energy.

Neck Deep at O2 Academy Leeds wasn’t just another tour stop. It felt like a shared memory in real time. One that will be repeated across each date of the tour.

And yeah, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

If you were there, you know. If you weren’t… catch them next time.
